What a contractor is actually buying

On a commercial job the millwork is rarely the risk. The risk is the coordination around it: whether the drawings arrive in time to be marked up, whether the panels match the dimensions after the walls move, and whether one company is answerable when they do not.

We work as a single trade. The shop that draws it is the shop that builds it and the crew that installs it. Templates are taken on site after framing and drywall, so panels are cut to the building as built rather than to the design intent. Services, brackets and lighting are set out on the drawing before fabrication, which is where most site delays actually start.

For designers, architects and general contractors there is a trade account with standing pricing, samples sent to your studio or straight to the client, and drawings your team can specify from.

Questions

Do you have a trade account?

Yes. Trade pricing is applied to every project once the account is approved. Designers, architects, general contractors and developers all qualify.

Can you work from a construction set?

Yes. We produce shop drawings from your elevations and issue them for mark up before anything is cut.

Who installs?

Our own crew across Southern California, the same people who dry fitted the work in the shop.

What happens if the building moves?

That is why the template is taken after framing and drywall rather than from the drawing set. Panels are cut to the wall that exists.

Can you phase a large floor?

Yes. Work is fabricated and labelled by location so it can be installed in the sequence the site needs.

Do you ship out of state?

Yes. Outside Southern California the work is built, dry fitted, labelled and crated with shop drawings for a local installer.
