Element Decor is a family-owned architectural woodwork shop in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, founded in 2014. We design, build and install custom wall panels, slat walls and ceilings, room dividers, built-ins and furniture, with our own crew, across Los Angeles and Ventura County.
Every project is drawn around the actual space rather than adapted from a catalog, and it is made in our own shop.

How we work
From concept to installation.
Measure
Send photos, rough dimensions or plans. In Southern California our team comes out and measures the space itself.
Design
Layout, proportions, materials and details are settled before production, with a 3D preview of your own wall.
Fabricate
Built on a full shop floor: CNC, edgebander, wide-belt sander, press and spray booth. That is what lets us run a panel the full 12 ft with no horizontal seam.
Install
Our own crew delivers and installs. One team answers for the job from first measurement to finished wall.

Materials and finishes
Fabrication and installation are quoted per project, because species, finish, panel size and site conditions all move the number.

Founder
Andrew, owner and founder.
A second generation woodworker, Andrew started on site as an installer and worked his way through every step of the trade before he built anything under his own name. In 2014 he founded Element Decor as a family workshop. It still is one: the people who draw, cut and hang your project are the same people, and Andrew is on the floor with them.
I started by installing other people's work. That is where you learn what fails on a wall, and why. Everything we build now is built so it does not.

From the first sketch to the final installation.
Working out of one building means we control the parts that usually go wrong. We template on site, cut, press, sand and finish in our own shop, and our crew installs. If a wall is out of square or an outlet lands in the middle of a pattern, it gets solved on the drawing before anything is cut.

Send a photo of the space, rough dimensions and a style you like. We develop the concept, show it in 3D, build it and install it.

Material selection, finish samples, shop drawings, CAD details, mockups and custom CNC work.
