An open plan has no back side
The Marina del Rey partition splits an open plan while keeping it open. The frame is oak with a gray stain, and tinted infill panels sit between the uprights, so sight lines break up but daylight still crosses the room.
A freestanding partition lives or dies on its connection details. This one is anchored top and bottom into the structure, with the fasteners hidden inside the frame profile, so nothing reads as hardware from either side. Both faces are finished to the same standard, because in an open plan there is no back.
Close to the water, wood has to stay flat through the humidity swing. On a carved oak wall a few blocks from the beach in Venice in 2024, the panels were built on a stable core and sealed on both faces before installation, and we apply the same thinking to coastal jobs.

Questions
Do you install in Marina del Rey?
Yes. Marina del Rey is inside the area our own crew covers. We completed a gray oak partition here in August 2025.
