Reseda
Element Decor is a family-owned millwork shop in Chatsworth, working since 2014, a few miles from Reseda. We make custom wall panels, slat walls and ceilings, media walls, built-ins, room dividers and ceiling beams for Reseda homes, built in our own shop and installed by our own crew.
One finished project here: a CNC carved feature wall in white oak and walnut, with a relief pattern that runs across every panel joint instead of stopping at it. Completed January 2023.

A pattern that crosses every joint
The Reseda wall reads as one continuous surface. The relief pattern was drawn parametrically, then cut on our CNC so the flow lines carry across each panel joint. Oak and walnut sit side by side, and the shift in tone does the work that trim usually has to do.
The panels are built on a stable core, MDF or birch plywood depending on span, and faced in real veneer, so the carved depth stays crisp and the grain stays continuous along the run. Each piece was cut to the measured wall, numbered in the shop and hung by the same crew that made it.
Reseda sits a few miles from our shop, which makes samples, templating and installation simple to schedule. Nearby we have built white oak U-beams on a vaulted ceiling in Sherman Oaks and dark U-beams with an oak island in Porter Ranch.

Do you install in Reseda?
Yes. Reseda is a few miles from our Chatsworth shop and inside the area our own crew covers. We completed a carved oak and walnut wall here in January 2023.

Yes. The relief is drawn for the whole wall and cut on our CNC so the lines carry across each joint instead of stopping at it.
What is a carved panel made of?

What do carved wall panels cost?
Simple paneled walls run $4,000 to $10,000. Carved, curved or inlaid walls are the complex end, $15,000 to $20,000, with options priced separately. Send the wall and you get a real number.

4 to 6 weeks of production after the shop drawings are approved, then installation by our own crew.
