Element Decor is an independent, family-owned millwork shop at 20371 Prairie St in Chatsworth, a few miles from Porter Ranch, working since 2014. For homes in the Ridge at Bella Vista we draw media walls, built-ins, ceiling beams and wall panels to your own floor plan, build them in our shop and install them with our own crew.

Start with your plan
The Ridge has 65 home sites, with plans from about 3,900 to more than 5,000 square feet. Tell us which plan you have, such as Alta Loma, Fernwood, Idylwild, Oakdale, Saddleback or Silverado, and which room you want to change. Send the floor plan and photos. We draw the work from them and show you a 3D preview of your own room, then template on site before anything is cut.
What we build, room by room
Options differ by plan and by home, so this is a starting list.
- Great room: a media wall with the wiring inside the wall and a vented bay for the components, or ceiling beams clad in real wood.
- Loft or bonus room: a media wall, a home office wall or built-in storage drawn to the room.
- Office: bookcases and cabinetry in the same veneer as the panels around them.
- Primary suite retreat: wall panels or a slat wall in white oak, walnut and other veneers.
- Multi-gen suite: closets and storage built to the room.
- Open plan: room dividers that separate a large space without closing it.
Working behind the gate
The Ridge sits behind a staff-gated entry with private streets. Tell us what your association requires from contractors, including working hours, and we plan the crew and deliveries around it. The work is finished and dry fitted in Chatsworth before our crew brings it to your home.

Do I need approval from my association?
Ask your association before work starts. Send us its contractor rules and we plan around them.
Will this affect my builder warranty?
Check your warranty terms before any work starts. Send us anything that limits attachments or wiring, and we draw around it.
What does it cost?
Every job is quoted from its own drawings or photos. As a guide, simple paneled walls and media walls run $4,000 to $10,000, more complex walls $15,000 to $20,000, and room dividers $4,000 to $8,000. Beams are quoted per ceiling.
How soon can you start?
You can send the floor plan today. Production takes 4 to 6 weeks after the shop drawings are approved.
