Terzi Mail Privacy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

Terzi Mail is an email app made by Dmitrii Terzi for Element Decor. This policy covers the iPhone and iPad app.

What we collect

Nothing. We run no server for this app and we do not receive your email, your contacts, your Google sign-in or your API keys. The app has no advertising and no analytics.

Your email

When you sign in with Google, the app talks directly to Google's Gmail service to read, send and organize your mail. It asks for full access to your Gmail because that is what an email app needs. Your sign-in is kept in the iOS Keychain. Copies of your mail are stored on your device so the app opens fast. Removing the account in Settings deletes them from the device. Google's use of your data is covered by Google's own privacy policy.

The app's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Claude features (optional)

If you add your own Anthropic API key in Settings and agree to it there, the emails Claude works on (their text, senders and subjects) and what you type to it are sent directly from your device to Anthropic, the company behind Claude, to produce the answer. Without a key, nothing is sent to Anthropic. Your use of the key is covered by Anthropic's terms and privacy policy. You can remove the key at any time in Settings.

Translation

When you tap Translate, the text of that message is sent to Google's public translation service to get the translation.

Pictures in emails

Remote pictures in an email are blocked until you choose to load them. When you do, the server that hosts them can see that they were loaded.

Sample mailbox

The sample mailbox contains invented messages and stays on your device. Nothing you do in it is sent anywhere.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.
