Wood Slat TV Wall

A slat wall built around a television so the screen sits inside the surface instead of on top of it. The slats run floor to ceiling, the mount position is backed with solid material, and the cabling drops inside the wall to a bay below.

The set out starts from the screen, not from the corner of the room. Slat spacing was arranged so the television lands centred within the rhythm rather than cutting a slat in half at each edge, which is the detail most installations miss.

  • Type: slat media wall
  • Set out: spacing arranged around the screen position
  • Mount: solid backing built in behind the bracket
  • Cabling: concealed inside the wall to a lower bay
